Phenomenal 2009-2010 season pass options for Squaw

For 2008-2009, Squaw's season pass would have set you back $1,449. For 2009-2010, they're running an epic 60th anniversary promotion on season passes. In addition to the Platinum full-pass option, they're offering Bronze, Silver and Gold passes.

The $369 Bronze level has some significant limitations and blackout dates, but the $469 Silver level looks pretty reasonable. At $79 per day, this pass pays for itself in 6 days.

Looks like next year might be a Squaw Valley ski season....

Alpine Meadows discounts at Costco

Costco is selling 2-packs of Alpine tickets for $99.99, which saves you $14 per day compared to their regular prices. These are even cheaper than what you get with the Alpine Club.

I'm not sure if all Costco locations have this deal, so call ahead. The Mountain View Costco did still have tickets this afternoon.
